Acceptable Use Policy

This policy governs all use of BethelOA Mail Engine. Using our platform means you accept these rules without exception.
1. Permitted Uses
BethelOA Mail Engine may be used for:
- Sending email newsletters and marketing campaigns to opted-in subscribers
- Transactional email communications related to your business
- Managing and segmenting your legitimate contact lists
- Purchasing SMM services for legitimate social media marketing
- Internal business communications
2. Prohibited Uses
You must NOT use BethelOA to:
2.1 Email Violations
- Send spam or unsolicited bulk email
- Send to purchased, scraped, or harvested email lists
- Use misleading or deceptive sender names, addresses, or subject lines
- Forge email headers or impersonate another person or organisation
- Send emails without a functioning unsubscribe mechanism
- Continue sending to contacts who have unsubscribed
2.2 Illegal Activity
- Violate any applicable law in Nigeria or internationally
- Engage in fraud, phishing, or identity theft
- Distribute malware, ransomware, or malicious code
- Facilitate money laundering or financial crimes
- Promote or sell illegal goods or services
- Violate intellectual property rights
2.3 Harmful Content
- Send content that threatens, harasses, or incites violence
- Distribute hate speech targeting race, religion, gender, or other protected characteristics
- Send unsolicited adult or explicit content
- Target minors with inappropriate content
- Promote self-harm or dangerous activities
2.4 Platform Abuse
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or systems
- Conduct load testing, penetration testing, or security scanning without written permission
- Use automated tools to abuse the API beyond normal usage
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or copy our software
- Resell access to the platform without written authorisation
- Create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits
2.5 SMM Service Misuse
- Use SMM services to manipulate financial markets or securities
- Create fake engagement for illegal purposes
- Use bot services to attack or harm competitor accounts
- Order services for accounts you do not own or have permission to promote
3. Resource Usage
You agree not to place excessive or disproportionate load on our infrastructure. This includes:
- Sending beyond your plan's monthly email limit
- Making API requests at rates that degrade service for other users
- Uploading contact lists larger than 500,000 contacts without prior arrangement
4. Monitoring and Enforcement
We reserve the right to monitor usage to ensure compliance with this policy. Upon discovering a violation, we may:
- Issue a warning and require remediation
- Temporarily suspend sending privileges
- Permanently terminate the account without refund
- Report illegal activity to the appropriate authorities
- Seek legal remedies for damages caused
5. Reporting Violations
If you become aware of any misuse of our platform, please report it to bethel@betheloa.com. We take all reports seriously.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as needed. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
